Got the car, but had to work at it
|From Colorado to California|
|I read all of the reviews and selected United Routes. Their price was the highest, but I thought it was for the quality and customer service. Both were good when I initiated the transaction. BUT, When it came down to getting the car picked up, I couldn't reach my contact person. I left messages and voicemails multiple time. On the date I requested to have the car picked up, I resorted to calling every extension in the company and fortunately one of the other reps called me back and got me a pick up date for my car--the date of our family's household move.
Transit of the car was done well. The driver was knowledgeable but didn't listen to our instructions not to try to come up the road we live off. We gave him the location of an easily accessible lot with ample access to get the car off the trailer. Instead, we had to meet him on the shoulder of the road to take delivery. It all worked out but could have been easier.
After the car was dropped off, I then got a call from my contact again stating that I denied payment from my credit card company. Of course, I had not. I called my credit card company to inquire about the transaction. They had no record of it. I called my contact again and said rerun the card. Instead, he insisted that I denied the transaction and that I needed to fill out some form allowing the transaction.
Since I am annoyed with the entire transaction, I give them a poor rating.||
